Signups for 4v4 Teams are open Monday.

I believe, that there will be some sort of tryout for IMR's top 4 R2 players. This will be the first MLG sponsored PS3 event.

Dec. 22 – Feb. 28: Ladder Play (4v4)
March 1 - 31: Top 64 teams advance to Bracket Play

Any who advance to the Bracket play will reicieve a prize

Important Bullets of the Rules

Must be 17 or older to Participate

The online ladder portion of the Tournament will be an open challenge system and participants are required to schedule their own games. The top 64 teams (each team will have 4 players) from the ladder will be seeded into a single elimination bracketed online tournament. All participants are required to schedule their own games (within the allotted times inside the “Challenge System” of the tournament on www.gamebattles.com) based on the applicable Tournament bracket. All Tournament games must be played under the rules set forth for each individual Tournament.

One entry per person per Tournament. Valid Tournament entries must contain all information requested. Incomplete and/or multiple entries will be disqualified. All entries become the property of the MLG and will not be acknowledged or returned. MLG not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected or incomplete entries

A team (4 players per team) has 15 minutes to show-up and be ready to start the match. If a team does not show up in the first 15 minutes, the opposing team can report a forfeit, thus the late team will lose the match.

Each team needs to show proof of winning each match to be given the win for it. All proof must contain the in game full scoreboard (showing clearly) at some point during that match, with both team's players to be considered valid.
Both teams are responsible for reporting the win / loss within 30 minutes of the completed match.

For a match to be official, the challenge must be accepted in the match scheduler.

Any player participating in a match must be on the roster for at least 12 hours and can't be updated within the past 12 hours prior to the match start time indicated in the accepted match settings.

We don't have to do this you know. cause leaving people out in the cold for money. I think if the four people win. We all chip in and buy games for the people in the clan who are poor or lazy and cheap to buy games that the clan plays and also save it for a rainy for important shit. This money would be the clan's money. Why do a 1v1 Resistance 2 for iMr is like taking a shit on Marcus's brain. Cause not everyone plays R2. Only Me, Ctown, and Creative.

that is true death, ur pretty good at most games so i dont doubt ur good, but cant be great unless u consistently play. i been putting in mad hours last few days trying to get 10k kills in competitive, im at 3500 and a 2days ago i was at 2000.

i think im going to find another clan to play this with because ive seen a couple good kids who will want me in.

well i was informed that people were not going to do it. I would rather do it with imr, obviously, but do we have 4 people? 1 second we have 10 then 3 posts their were not doing it and we dont have people...? Helping White out here, umm if anyone would like to participate in the Resistance 2 Tournament, you HAVE TO REGISTER at GB like..NOW!!!!!!!! The way its going to go down is that White is going to Register..and look for ya guys names ..and invite you to the clan. This is how it was explained to me by a GB admin. In his words

"everyone must have there own GB account, email and be individual people on GB. and then as the leader they can send out invites to those players"

You have to register asap. and tell white your name on GB and so forth. White has to create a team and register for the R2 tournament starting at 9 am tomorrow.

Note: Core Control will be played for 2 rounds with teams switching after round 1. They will then add up their total score from both rounds. If 1 team has a higher score, that team wins. Hosting Rules:

1. Higher ranked team chooses what game they would like to host. The lower ranked team then chooses 1 of the 2 remaining games to host. The higher ranked team then gets to host the unchosen map. Maps are played in the order listed in the challenge.

2. In a Best of 5 series, the higher ranked team chooses 2 maps to host. The lower ranked team chooses 2 of the remaining 3 maps to host. The higher ranked team then gets to host the unchosen map.

3. The team not hosting the map being played may choose whether they want to play as Chimera or Human.

3. The higher ranked team may choose to act as the lower ranked team to choose their spawn more rather than to host.

Ladder play also BEGINS tomorrow. You can set up multiple matches in a day. Its based off XP, so the top 64 teams with the most XP in two months will advance to bracket. Febuary 28th is the last day of Ladder play. Then Bracket with set matches. We would like this to be finalized BY TONIGHT and begin practicing tonight possibly.With the top 4. Thanks.
